THE OPPORTUNITY:

The RevOps Deal Desk Specialist performs day-to-day Deal Desk responsibilities including price matches, complex deal provisioning, scenario testing, and communication with product, orders, and renewals. In terms of systems, this role will be responsible for aligning Salesforce and other systems to support business processes.

The Deal Desk Team’s primary focus is enabling Sales and Customer Success by managing commercial activities such as order and contract management on their behalf. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Post Sales, Billing, and Legal to shepherd deals through our internal processes and approvals. As a successful contributor, you will increase deal velocity and optimize a smooth cross-functional process to help VelocityEHS book and recognize revenue more quickly.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

  • Ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently, accurately, and align with company policies.
  • Assist with all aspects of deal management including approvals, deal configuration/structure, pricing, and order form drafting.
  • Work cross-functionally with Orders, Billing, Legal, and other teams on all non-standard deals.
  • Partner closely with sales and post-sales leadership to implement scalable, repeatable, data driven processes to streamline the Deal Desk, and its functions.
  • Continually improve our processes and identify opportunities to automate and drive scalability in Salesforce and other sales and marketing tools impacting our ability to grow.
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of key projects and identify any opportunities for ongoing process improvements.
  • Leverage change management fundamentals to drive ongoing communications.
  • Deliver a variety of Deal Desk analytics and other needs as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Deal Desk within a high growth SaaS company.
  • 2 years or more experience in B2B Sales or Sales Operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, advanced degrees a plus
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, behavior, processes, and customer journey across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow as the team and role grows.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in a Deal Desk Revenue Operations or Sales Operations function.
  • Master’s degree in finance or MBA.
